Come and join us at AD:uk’s 2013 national conference in Birmingham to enjoy a menu of all things Arts Development. Birmingham City Council is the host authority for this year’s event, taking place at the iconic new Library of Birmingham and Rep Studio Theatre complex.
Conference places are open to all with preferential rates for AD:uk members. Whether you’re an artist or an arts officer, an organisation or an independent consultant the AD:uk conference offers you the ingredients to develop your work as well as opportunities to network with arts and cultural colleagues from across the country. The programme is now confirmed and we are delighted to announce that Laura Dyer, Executive Director of Arts Council England and Anita Bhalla, Chair of Birmingham’s Creative Cities Partnership will be amongst our speakers and will be offering keynote presentations.
AD:uk conferences offer a lively mix of keynote presentations, breakouts, study

SSoCiaL at the 2013 AD:uk Conference: We are delighted to report that we have appointed a double artist residency to work with us at the AD:uk Conference this year. Sophie Cullinan and Sally Lemsford collaborating as SSoCiaL have been appointed to develop the World Cafe on Friday 29th November and will also be working with us on 28th November. The SSoCiaL ‘SAUCED’ residency is a partnership between Arts Development UK and a-n The Artists Information Company and will give us a very creative slant to the World Cafe. They have already started a blog on the residency at http://www.a-n.co.uk/artists_talking/projects/single/3800369 and you can start you participation from now.

The conference is CPD Certified and offers prospective Fellows 5 credits for every full day’s attendance in the AD:uk Professional Fellowship programme.
We have frozen the delegate rate for members at just £295 for the duration of the event and this year we are also introducing a differential rate for individuals and small organisations trading annually at under £25,000 at just £195. We are also offering a two delegate rate at £395. Single date rates as well as discounted rates for students and those between jobs are also available.
