CultureHive goes Live – discover & share best practice in cultural marketing

images[6]On 23 April over 800 arts and cultural professionals joined the Arts Marketing Association to celebrate the launch of CultureHive, a new website to discover and share best practice in cultural marketing. Developed in partnership with The Audience Agency and supported by Arts Council England, the free online knowledge hub delivers free content and tools on marketing and audience development good practice to address the core goal of enhancing marketing practice and skills nationally. The website is available at www.culturehive.co.uk.

Funded as part of Arts Council England’s Audience Focus initiative, the project will bring together resources from across the sector, including case studies, toolkits, reports and training videos. The online community will be complemented by curated features and editorial that highlights examples of good practice, showcasing materials that offer inspiration for those working on marketing and audience development campaigns. A CultureHive CPD tool will identify users’ skills and training needs to create a personal development plan that will soon offer tailored resources.

CultureHive is created and managed by the Arts Marketing Association, in partnership with The Audience Agency and part of an Audience Focus project to provide a national service to collate, share, train, and implement best practice in arts marketing and audience development. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
