An essential training session for practitioners supporting the health & social care of Older People
This training will enable all practitioners supporting older people; in housing, health & social care; to improve their understanding of;
The neuro-psychological tasks of later life; providing an entirely new concept in brain enhancement
How to help the elderly maximise this rich stage of life, even for poorly functioning brains
How to work with the Ageing brain earlier in its development to protect it from future degeneration
The day will be full of practical help, and we will also show case studies which evidence creativity in practice with the ageing brain. These will include the use of wellbeing assessment data; and show you how to bring creativity into your practice whether you are or aren’t a skilled artist.
