Culture & Sport Evidence (CASE) programme

DCMS is working with the Arts Council, English Heritage and Sport England on a short communications campaign to promote the Culture and Sport Evidence (CASE) programme. The objective is to promote CASE’s research findings and resources so that CASE outputs become more embedded in the work of researchers and policy makers in both central and local government as well as within the higher education sector. 

CASE is a joint strategic research programme led by the DCMS, Sport England, the Arts Council and English Heritage. It uses a range of research methods and analysis to produce briefings, reports and resources designed to inform the development of policy in culture and sport. Its overall aim is to strengthen our understanding of how best to deliver culture and sporting opportunities of the highest quality to the widest audience generating the best outcomes for society. 

The first in a series of blog posts about CASE is now available, by James Doeser from the Arts Council. More information about CASE will be issued in the coming weeks and will be available via the CASE web pages.
